Just a quick post because I'm loving their Autumn 2012 lookbook!
Their Autumn range consists of 4 "stories"

1. FIERCE - 

think cheetah prints with shiny fabrics for that 90's grunge and
70's glam rock look

2. URBAN STREETWISE - 

lots of sharp lines and monochrome colours with flashes of electric blue

3. REGAL -

 for that "catwalk" inspired style with a dark and decadent colour palette and beautiful strong prints

4. FLEUR ROMANCE - 

all things feminine, floral prints and lace details, but all the while sticking a bit to the darker more seductive side

... Is today's blogger of the moment. 

The writer behind this blog is one named Doni Brown 

who is a fashion stylist from Dallas, Texas. 

She uses her blog to showcase her loves and passions for fashion as well as any good tips and "tricks" she picks up from her job as a freelance stylist.

Here she is, Freelance Stylist in action!! - don't you love her hair?

What first caught my attention about Doni's blog was her simplicity, but a simplicity far lacking interest and style! When browsing through her blog you can instantly tell this girl is very clued up in terms of fashion and style, and in each of her outfit posts there is always at least ONE really great interesting thing she wears :)

Apart from having a Pinterest, Lookbook.nuLookbook.nu, Twitter etc etc, Doni also has an Instagram profile! YAY! I love bloggers who Instagram... It gives you such a personal look inside their daily lives and loves and interests, and a fashion blogger who can Instagram WELL, like Doni, is always a plus!

I managed to hold this girl down for three quick questions... Here's what she says:

Your personal style, in words?

- My style is always evolving, but it always seems to be a bit androgynous. I'm never super feminine, there's always an edge.

Statement necklace - huge 2012 trend! LOVE it paired with a collared shirt.. WIN!

LOVE love these!!!

Top 3 fashion brands or labels or designers?

- This is like asking me to pick my favorite child! haha Right now I'll go with Alexander Wang, Philip Lim, and Balenciaga.

Top Summer 2012 trends you love?

- I actually love most of them! Some of my favorites would have to be pastels, prints, and color blocking.

Definitly a girl to keep your eye on for great style tips and anything on-trend!

... Have finally arrived to South Africa.
I've spotted these babies all over the net and finally I saw
some AWESOME designs when I walked into Cotton On the other day.

Such a cute little thing to have on a sheer or cotton shirt, and also pretty
easy to Do It Yourself :) 

I've come across some rad DIY tutorials online recently...

So Cotton On is cottoning onto the whole pastel ice-cream cakey palette that we've seen in all major labels for Spring and Summer this year
(my fav was the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 collection... MAJOR love for that!)
and in this range they have some stunning sheer blouses with studded and lace detailed collars.
