I love festivals, and being from Cape Town, South Africa we have some of the best!

I particularly love this lookbook, as Planet Blue really has captured the kind of
rawness and grittyness that one experiences at a festival. There's a good mix of
grunge, boho, hippie and surfer in this lookbook. LOVE love love this...

... not that this was the cause of, but in the after-wake of Coachella recently there has been a massive growth in all things festival chic, gypsy and boho to mention but a few relating words...

House of Maryanne is my new find, and has a Spring / Summer collection that houses all
of the above mentioned trends! More specifically, their collection has been inspired by different folk and gypsy cultures from around the world, 

influences range from Africa to India and wider.

The campaign shoot for House of Maryanne is about careless freedom, road-trips and exotic travel, unknown lands and people all set against a background of interesting colours, prints, styles and accessories. Let it be noted : this is one of the very few brands that make a Kimono look cool!
