There are so many things Miss Ivy loves

and hates about this lookbook.

I hate how in almost every pic, the models have the same

face. Has the pinched side-pout been replaced with the

open mouthed dumbfounded guppy?

I also cannot STAND how many mainstream retailers

all resort to the "punk poof" when creating anything "rock" inspired.

COME ON people... let's move on from that

However, the styling is GREAT,

and all in all I love the combination of

CAMO

PLAID

and TIE-DYE 

As well as the creative cut-out details,

and of course

the BAND TEES <3

It isn't very often that you see a brand like this,

who clearly does all they can within their limits

to push their boundaries and bring to

the public something a little new and different and fresh.

Their latest female S/S 2013

swimwear campaign features

a montage of an androgynous Lady Gaga-esque boy (not girl)

who clearly got lost somewhere in Mexico

on his/her way to the beach...

This very forward and fun shoot

is great inspiration for the off cloudy day 

in Summer, like Cape Town is today
