The Career Trend...

... is an emerging love on the horizon for Autumn / Winter 13/14...
But there are a few current hints and things seen on and off the runway that are already
following this style.

Think clean cuts, solid lines... Anything "Tailored Prep" looking.
It's a bit of a girl-scout slash school uniform cross career jet setter.
The colours are solid and bold ... Mostly collegiate looking - Black, White, Navy, Grey with pops of bright or jewel colours - Yellow/Mustard, Red, Green...

The perfect trend to bring in those gorgeous little collar necklaces ;)

Has officially dropped my jaw with her Spring/Summer 12 collection.

A little quote for you:

"Fashion is like rock and roll: there should always be a bit of rebellion."

It is apparent that she isn't afraid to take risks with her designs and concepts and through her clear passion for the darker side of fashion,
she has a huge following of Demeulemeester-adoring fans... me being one!!

Something interesting to note is there is never bold colours present in her ranges,
and instead of just simply playing with Black and White, she uses these two and their hundreds of hues as shadows in order
to add dimension and volume to her designs. 

Pure art if you ask me.

She also likes to work with natural materials like leather, wool, flannel, and fur, textures that you ache to touch and play with.
This really is no ordinary designer...
and her Spring/Summer 12 collection really is a f*cking outstanding
