MirkoG. di Brandimarte S/S 2013 Campaign

MirkoG. di Brandimarte

.....................

Soft and stylish,

in dusty desolation.

Brilliantly conceptualized and photographed
by Oskar Cecere (oskarcecere.com)
and modeled by a very Jolandie-Visser-esque Anastasia Silveri,
Russian-born Italian model,

this post-apocolyptic slash
Chernobyl looking landscape
contrasts perfectly with the stiking beauty of the model
and clothing.

LOVE the black Ravens!!

Lana Del Rey for HM

Lana Del Rey...

....................................................

If you read my blog often, you'd have already
noticed me commenting on the lovely Lana Del Rey and
her fashion and style brain... (check out first post over here!)

... Well, I pretty much had it on target (as I so often do... hehe)

So Apart from her Vogue Cover :

And not to mention her OWN bag designed under Mulberry especially with her in mind!

I love it... it's classic and gorgeous and would suit almost anyone!

It's just been announced that Lana is going to be the face
for H&M's "LA noir" Collection!!

Watch out for this Autumn / Winter Ad Campaign .. Shot by fashion gods Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin (who have also worked on Balmain and Christian Dior campaigns this season) Del Rey's style and attitude fits perfectly
with the 60's Housewife feeling of the new collection.

As a teaser here, She's pictured in a pale pink angora jumper and leather jeans, chandelier earrings, big hair, black eyeliner and claw-like nails.

Keep an eye on my blog, I'll definatly feature this campaign the second it comes out!!

Awesome

XO

Kristen Stewart - Face Of Balenciaga

Balenciaga...

...........................................................

As I mentioned in March 2012, in a little

post about our girl Kristen (over here)

she is the new face for Balenciaga

and they have just released the

Florabotanica Fragrance Campaign:

I think she looks rather Kristen Stewarty - which is good since

her own personal style suits this brand pretty well. A good mix.

I love the collage of 3D almost Nouveau looking flowers, and how they

contrast with her dress and the bottle design.

..................

Florabotanica will be available in September 2012 and includes notes of vetiver, amber, caladium-leaf rose, carnation and mint.

ENJOY!!

 XO

Goodbye Innocence - Italian Teen Brand Ad Campaign

Good-bye Innocence...

................................................

... So, being from "Deepest Darkest Africa" and all that, I'm always keeping an eye out
on international brands that draw inspiration from my country... And this one is AMAZING!

SASCH SHS's Ad Campaign for their teenwear features
"Safari Girl" and "Safari Boy" in a seemingly Coming Of Age scenario, and us from South Africa know how fitting the "African Bush" scene is with regards to coming of age etc...

So, here we have Safari Girl and Safari Boy, with all the various carcasses of their childhood selves, set out around them like trophies...

(My FAV beign the Hello Kitty skull..... gimme!!)

These two perfectly assembled shots are so powerful in their own right, and reminds me so much of myself when I made that transition from child to teen and swopped my MyLittlePonies for black eyeliner and heels... There is a very personal and powerful message behind these images that perhaps would be more understood by the older viewer than the teen itself?

This print campaign was actually listed in the finalists for the outdoor category at the London International Awards 2008, with Safari Girl winning a Gold statue in the print category, rightfully so. It’s just so beautiful and perfectly executed.

So, without further adieu... Let me present to you, the finest teen wear ad campaign EVER:

Enjoy!!
