Mulberry - Spring/Summer 12

Mouthwatering Mulberry

has put together, literally, the most "tasteful" shoot

for their Spring/Summer 2012 campaign.

All set up and shot in Brighton Beach, 

these beautifully shot scenes were inspired by childhood

memories of the creative director Emma Hill.

Featuring models Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Wixson,

and shot by Tim Walker,

Mulberry has once again produced amazing work!!

All I can say is that the models must have had a hard time

not getting their drool all over those fantastic props!! WOWee...

And as for the collection, my MUST-HAVE item

would have to be this gorgeous Mulberry bag

(note the zebra print... definately coming in big for SS'12!! Watch out for this!)

Bershka - Lookbook for March 2012

Bershka

has lovingly divided their lookbook, as far as I take it,

into three females:

The pretty petal, the rock chick and the

happy-go-lucky middle ground denim girl...

I'm loving their March 2012 lookbook...

LOVELY florals, gradient prints (still big!!) and bits with studs...

My Tastebuddies - food blog

Yes,

sometimes I do indeed cheat on fashion with interior,

and occasionally with food too.

Although I don't really enjoy the cooking process myself, I'm always

first to taste the end product, ESPECIALLY when it comes to anything

sweet.....!

My Tastebuddies

is a food-blog created by a close friend of mine Jess.

She's brilliant when it comes to all things food and wine,

and her house is never short of something interesting to taste in terms

of both!

(I had octopus on Friday night... was DELISH!)

So in anticipation to Easter,

Jess posted up a great recipe for something called

Chocolate Cloud Cake...

*sigh* I'll even eat the name!

A Louis and Marc Exhibition

Another Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs

win for all the fans out there!

The expo, which is being held at the Paris' Musée des Arts Décoratifs

(until the 16th Sept 2012)

is a story of two men:  the brand's father Louis Vuitton (1821 - 1892)

and

Marc Jacobs (who became creative director in 1997)

This exhibition aims to present the two stories of the brand's two important

personalities, and underline their individual contributions to fashion as a whole.

Showcasing some AMAZING trunks

(that the average woman during the 1850's, just after the brand was born, would carry

around 30 at a time when traveling!!) as well as

the average daily wardrobe of this same lady, usually consisting 

of about 6 different outfits... (only in my wildest dreams

could I wear six different outfits a day!!! sigh)

These items on show are truly remarkable!

There are also on show some of the more recent works that were

seen under the Vuitton brand that were created in collaboration

with famous names

such as Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince...

There is just SO much to see in this exhibition,

and I BEG those of you who will hit Paris before the end date

to please please, for me, go take a look!!!
