... As you who follow my blog may know, Brandy Melville
is by far one of my fav fashion brands. I just adore everything about their
items and brand image...

And their Spring 2012 lookbook is soo inspiring, thought I'd share the stills with ya'll!

As everyone mostly knows, one of the biggest celeb-friendly events this year has been Coachella, which has literally allowed for also one of the biggest trending themes : Festival Chic. I would say that the festival look is more a love-child of Tribal and Boho... But we're all seeming to love the torn denim, ditsy florals, graphic tees, grown-on sleeves and all the gorgeous colours that are coming with this laid-back trend...

And so, allow me to introduce the festival-inspired Spring range for Brandy Melville...

We've been experiencing very heavy heat waves here... But luckily things

are slooowly starting to cool down... So what 

better time to start talking about an extremely important

transitional must-have:

The Knit

And this is where one of my favorite stores comes in:

 For me what makes a knit is the texture, 

and there's been a lot of play on textures when it comes to your 

average knit item...

Neutral colours are still very much in, and can

be paired with a pop of bright or spicy colour to mix up your outfit a bit.

It's also nice to mix your knits (chunky or fine) with other interesting

fabrics... sheer garments are still very much on the horizon for the rest of 2012,

so that's a great fabric to pair with a knit and create a great

dynamic in your outfit.

Also look out for other interesting details in your knit wear such as necklines,

trims, uneven hem-lines etc
